1. The less you care about what others think, the happier you will be.

It really is impossible to live up to other people’s expectations, and we can burn ourselves out trying to do so.  Now we may all want to be liked and appreciated by others, but when we start to make other people’s opinions pivotal to our success, we run the risk of tailering our lives to their expectations.  We then risk giving our power away to others because our reality becomes our other people see us.

2. Show and Experience Your Feelings

Experiencing your feelings is vital to staying happy, whether or not it’s permitting yourself to feel feeling for the little, nice things in life, or showing others that you really appreciate their role in your life. Showing others that you just are grateful for his or her presence makes them happy and fully appreciate you and keeps the nice vibes flowing.

3. Actions speak louder than words.

This phrase gets thrown around lots, however however typically dol we truly act on it? It’s one issue to vow your mate that you’ll contribute additional to the housekeeping, and a very completely different issue to really do what you’ve said you would do.

To reinforce your words, you need to continually follow up with actions that are in alignment and hold faithful to your words.

4. Work hard—but not too hard.

Work hard, play hard… But don’t do too much of either. While it is great to work hard, we need to maintain a healthy work life balance as well. After we work to live, not live to work. Our bodies need time out for rest and relaxation, we need to be able to refresh our souls with the things we enjoy doing and of course our relationships benefit immensely from time spent investing in these.

So take some time out now and then while you take a step back from work.

5. Live for yourself.

This is an extension to not worrying about what others think of you.

Living for yourself means that not permitting alternative people’s recommendation get over what you think to be right and true for your life path. Follow your dreams with such fervor that you are able to block out the noise of others’ objections.

6. Failures are lessons in disguise.

This is such a crucial lesson to experience, as it is though it takes failing to learn the valuable life lessons.

Often the fear of failure – or success is what keeps us from pursuing so many things in life.  But watch a small child learning to walk – they fall over many times learning what is the best way to stay upright.  So be excited about your plans and goals, look at any failures as stepping stones and learning curves along the way taking you close to achieving your dream!

7. Live with no regrets.

Living with regrets keeps us the past and prevents us from moving forward. This may be something as little as  we wished we hadn’t gotten an exact haircut, or as massive as we wish we hadn’t broken up with our “true love.” Regardless of what the regret is, it’s holding you back. Instead use that as the  motivation to learn from the past and move forward.

8. Be aware of the now

This can be referred to as “being aware” or living in the now or the moment.  The only moment we have any control over  is “now” – hence the reason why it is called the “present”. So through being aware of that we can choose  to take a brief moment for a couple of deep breaths, just to relax and unharness ourselves from all the strain and stress we  experiencing by attempting to try and do a million things at one time.

Living within the moment is crucial to our well-beings, as we have a tendency to spend an excessive amount of time wishing  we could modify the past or worrying about the future.

If we threw all of our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s , we would take all of ours back. We all have to cope with problems and setbacks in life, and again our attitude towards these will determine out altitude. Some of the happiest, most successful people I have met have overcome the largest obstacles in their live lives,  With attitudes grattitude and persistence they forged ahead toward their goals with ultimate success.

Instead of focusing on what’s wrong in your life, be grateful that you just have the mental and physical capability to handle no matter life throws at you.
